Text: Philippians 4:10-23
"How To Be a God-Centered Giver"
Sunday's sermon drew lessons from Paul's interaction with the Philippians regarding their gift to him. Paul wanted to be sure that the gift did not de-generate into a way of defining his relationship with the Philippians. He did this by making the gift God-Centered rather than human centered. He set forth two key ideas:
1. Giving is an Act of Worship (cf. 4:18)
2. Giving is an Act of Trust (cf. 4:11-13, 19)
