This coming Sunday our worship gathering will be an Instructed Eucharist. Rather than have a sermon, I will do a running commentary through the whole liturgy to explain the significance of each aspect of the Liturgy.

We had our first Fall Formation Seminar last Saturday. Dr. Sandra Richter, Assoc. Prof. of OT at Asbury Seminary and a St. Pattite led the sessions. We did the seminar in conjunction with Church of the Apostles. It was phenominal!! Thanks Sandy!!

On October 9 St. Pat's will host a "Blessing of the Animals" outside the dogpark at Masterson Station Park. We are praying that folks from the dogpark, St. Pattite's and friends of St. Pat's will attend. The service is at 10am at shelter #1. May God make us blessing as we host this event!

Last Sunday Sofia Myers and Jeana Clark were baptized. It was a great morning! I love baptisms because of the opportunity they afford to re-affirm my own baptism. I also love, especially when a baby is baptized, how the sign so powerfully captures the nature of God's free grace. Salvation is gift and it is initiated wholly by God. That is good news!
